ITC Vegas is a big event, and three days can go by incredibly quickly.
There are people to see, meetings to get to, sessions to attend, technology to explore, and plenty of information coming at you from every direction. By the time the conference ends, it can be tempting to think about the event as something that is finished.
For me, the most important question is what comes home with us.
This year, we had the opportunity to meet with a few more carriers than we have in the past, and those conversations were especially valuable. We talked about alignment, shared challenges, changing expectations, and where insurance technology continues to have impact.
Those conversations matter because technology is only useful when it supports the people and processes that rely on it.
Carrier Conversations Gave Us Another Perspective
One of the things I appreciated most about this year’s ITC was the opportunity to sit down with carriers and really talk.
There is value in seeing what a company is demonstrating at a booth or hearing about the latest technology trends. There is even more value in discussing what is happening in the day to day insurance environment.
Carriers and agencies may approach licensing, contracting, appointments, onboarding, and compliance from different perspectives, but there is a lot of common ground.
Everyone is looking for ways to reduce unnecessary work, improve visibility, keep information moving, and make it easier for the right people to act.
Those conversations help bring us into alignment with what matters beyond our own corner of the industry. They also give us ideas about where Agenzee can continue to improve the experience for the agencies, carriers, and producers who use the platform.
That is one of the biggest reasons I value attending events like ITC.
We are not simply looking at what is new. We listen to what people need.
There Was Plenty to Learn
Insurance technology continues to evolve quickly, and ITC is a great place to see just how much the industry has changed.
There were new ideas, new approaches, and plenty of conversations about where the industry is going next.
However, some of the most useful takeaways were not necessarily the newest piece of technology. They were the ideas that made me stop and think about how technology can better support the work people are already doing.
That distinction is important.
A new feature is not automatically a better solution. The real value comes from solving a problem, reducing friction, improving visibility, or giving someone a better way to manage work that already needs to be done.
That is a perspective we bring back to Agenzee.
And Yes, We Found the Puppies
Of course, no ITC Vegas recap would be complete without mentioning the Puppy Park.
We made time to stop by, and I am always happy to see the puppies getting some attention during a very busy conference.
This year, it was especially nice to hear that at least one of the dogs had been adopted during the event.
That may not have anything to do with insurance technology, but it was a great reminder that conferences are also about stepping away from business for a few minutes, enjoying something unexpected, and sharing a little bit of fun with the people around you.
Sometimes those are the moments you remember most.
A Few Familiar Faces Were Missing
There was also one vendor I normally see at ITC that I could not locate this year.
I hope everything is well with them and that they simply decided to attend a different conference this year.
Seeing familiar faces is one of the things that makes returning to an industry event meaningful. You develop relationships over time, and it is always nice to reconnect, even when you only see each other once or twice a year.
It was a reminder that conferences are about more than schedules and meeting calendars. They are also about the people who have become part of the industry community.
What We Are Bringing Back to Agenzee
The most important part of ITC for us does not end when we leave Las Vegas.
We came home with new ideas, new conversations to continue, and a better understanding of what carriers and other industry partners are thinking about.
Those conversations help shape the questions we ask ourselves at Agenzee.
How can we make licensing and compliance information easier to manage?
How can we give agencies better visibility into the work that needs attention?
How can we help carriers and agencies stay aligned?
How can technology make routine tasks more connected, without overcomplicating them?
Those are not questions that can be answered by looking at technology alone. They require listening to the people doing the work.
That is why the conversations at ITC were so valuable.
The Clock Always Moves Too Fast
By the time we packed up and headed home, there were still people I wanted to see, conversations I wanted to continue, and probably a few more sessions I could have attended.
That seems to be the way these conferences work.
You arrive with a list of things you want to accomplish, and suddenly three days have passed.
Still, I think that is a good problem to have.
We left with stronger relationships, more carrier conversations, new ideas, and plenty to bring back to the Agenzee team.
Now comes the important part: turning those conversations into something useful. That is where the real value of a conference begins.
Conclusion
ITC Vegas gave us another opportunity to listen, learn, reconnect, and look ahead.
The technology on the show floor will continue to change. The insurance industry will continue to evolve, and the needs of agencies, carriers, and producers will continue changing along with it.
Our job is to keep listening.
For Agenzee, that means taking what we learn from these conversations and continuing to look for better ways to connect licensing, compliance, onboarding, contracting, and appointment work.
The conference may be over, but the conversations are not.

Our overall experience with Agenzee has been amazing. From the standpoint of the platform itself, there's information there that allows us to really audit the downline agents and agencies to make sure that they're fully aligned with our model and that everything is going through the proper channels.

With Agenzee, being a one-stop shop for licenses, appointments, and now CE's, this has given our producers more independence to monitor their own progress without feeling like they have to look in multiple places.

We like the clean, modern look of the system, as well as the dashboard, ability to give admins access to only certain areas, onboarding, packages and the resource library.
