Arizona Creates a Limited Time Staff Adjuster Licensing Option

Beginning September 12, 2026, Arizona will add the Staff Adjuster Line of Authority to its Adjuster License Class. The change provides a temporary licensing opportunity for certain applicants who meet specific residency and prior licensing requirements. Arizona considers a Designated Home State license to be a non-resident license, which is an important distinction when determining eligibility. The Staff Adjuster license is optional, is only available for a limited time, and does not apply to every adjuster license type.

Texas Opens Electronic Licensing to Sole Proprietorships

Starting September 2, 2026, Texas will allow sole proprietorships to submit electronic applications for both resident and non-resident insurance licensing. The state is removing the previous rule that prevented sole proprietorships from using the electronic application process. For agencies and licensing professionals, the change means fewer exceptions to manage and a more consistent way to handle eligible applications. Understanding the update before it takes effect can help teams adjust internal procedures and take advantage of the new electronic option.

FINRA 2026 Continuing Education Requirements, What Firms Need to Know

Continuing education is an ongoing compliance responsibility for FINRA registered people and the firms that oversee them. Firms also have responsibilities for maintaining a Firm Element program and documenting their annual training needs.
