Position Overview
The Agenzee Assist Specialist supports customers through a combination of platform expertise, customer service, and insurance licensing and compliance knowledge. This role conducts Agenzee demonstrations, assists with customer onboarding and training, responds to customer questions, and independently completes back-office licensing and compliance work for Agenzee Assist customers.
The ideal candidate is an experienced licensing professional who communicates clearly, delivers accurate and timely work, and can translate complex licensing requirements into practical guidance.
Licensing Appointments and Compliance
- Serve as a subject matter expert on back-office insurance licensing, appointments, renewals, and compliance processes.
- Process resident and nonresident license applications and renewals, address and contact changes, and other licensing transactions.
- Submit, track, renew, and terminate carrier appointments, as applicable, and verify licensing and appointment status.
- Track continuing education requirements and maintain complete, accurate, and current compliance records.
- Research and interpret state-specific requirements across applicable lines of authority and monitor regulatory updates from Departments of Insurance, NIPR, NAIC, and other relevant industry sources.
- Document completed work and clearly communicate requirements, deadlines, and status updates to customers.
Customer Service and Account Support
- Serve as a trusted point of contact and provide responsive, professional support to Agenzee Assist customers by email, phone, and video meeting.
- Monitor open requests and platform activity to ensure work is completed accurately and within established timelines.
- Identify customer concerns, resolve issues promptly, and coordinate with the appropriate internal resources when additional support is needed.
- Collaborate with sales, implementation, product, and support teams to provide a consistent customer experience.
Platform Demonstrations and Customer Onboarding
- Develop and maintain strong knowledge of the Agenzee platform, its features, workflows, and customer use cases.
- Conduct clear, engaging platform demonstrations for prospective and existing customers, tailoring each presentation to the customer's business and licensing needs.
- Support customer onboarding, training, and platform adoption by explaining workflows and answering platform and licensing-related questions.
Team and Operational Support
- Help document and improve Agenzee Assist procedures, customer communications, and service workflows.
- Assist with administrative and operational projects related to Agenzee Assist and the broader Agenzee business.
Qualifications
- At least three years of hands-on insurance licensing and compliance experience in Property and Casualty and/or Life, Health and Disability insurance.
- Demonstrated experience processing licenses, appointments, renewals, and related regulatory transactions.
- Working knowledge of NIPR, NAIC resources, state Departments of Insurance, and insurance licensing requirements.
- Experience conducting product demonstrations, customer training, onboarding, account support, or customer success activities preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical or regulatory information clearly.
- Excellent customer service, research, organization, follow-through, and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple requests, meet deadlines, maintain accurate records, and work independently.
- Comfort working in a collaborative, hands-on small-office environment and adapting to changing priorities.
