2025 Wyoming Insurance Appointment Renewals: Deadlines, Fees, and Process

Attention insurance companies! The Wyoming Department of Insurance (DOI) has announced critical updates regarding the 2025 Annual Appointment Renewals. Staying informed on these requirements and deadlines will ensure compliance and avoid disruptions to your agent appointments. (Appointments)

 

The renewal process kicks off on February 1, 2025, when the DOI will email Annual Appointment Renewal Invoices and Detailed Appointment Lists to insurers. To maintain agent appointments, ensure payment is submitted on or before March 31, 2025. Missed payments result in retroactive appointment terminations effective January 31, 2025.

1. Appointment Terminations:

1. • The last day to terminate appointments to avoid renewal fees is January 31, 2025.
   • Once invoices are generated, they cannot be modified.

2. Payment Process:

1. • Invoices must be paid electronically via Sircon’s payment portal.
   • Payments are processed through Automated Clearing House (ACH) using Vertafore’s Sircon Solution.
   • If you do not have a Sircon account visit www.sircon.com/products/carriers/signup/
   • A $10 service fee applies to each invoice. Ensure your bank is authorized for ACH transactions.

3. Updating Appointment Renewal Contacts:

1. • Appointment Renewal Invoices will be sent to the contact on file. Update your contact information by January 13, 2025, via the Wyoming Company Address Change Portal.

4. Important Dates:

1. • 1/31/2025: Deadline to terminate appointments to avoid fees.
   • 2/1/2025: Renewal invoices emailed.
   • 3/31/2025: Payment due by 11:59 PM MT.
   • 4/1/2025: Service closes; unpaid appointments terminated.

5. Disputed Invoices: Insurers disputing specific appointments must email the DOI with documentation proving termination before February 1, 2025.
