Continuing Education (CE)
CE requirements:
- 24 hours of CE (including 3 hours of ethics) for Life, Accident & Health or Sickness, Variable Life and Variable Annuity, Property, Casualty, Personal Lines every 2 years.

When do I need to renew my Wyoming insurance license?
Licenses require renewal and proof of CE compliance every 2 years on last day of the licensee’s birth month. License renewals are possible up to 90 days before the expiration date.
What if I miss the Wyoming insurance license renewal deadline?
Wyoming does NOT offer a grace period. License reinstatements are possible for up to one year after the expiration date after paying the reinstatement and renewal fees. After one year, the licensee must reapply as a new applicant, retake the exam(s), and resubmit fingerprints.
