FAQs
When do I need to renew my Utah producer license?
The department operates on a birth month renewal cycle, with licenses expiring every two years on the last day of the licensee’s birth month. For new licenses, the initial renewal period ranges from 24 to 35 months depending on when the license was issued relative to the holder’s birth month. After that, the license must be renewed every two years in the same birth month.
What if I miss the Utah producer license renewal deadline?
Within 90 days, a late application fee of $50 ($125 for non-residents) applies in addition to standard renewal fees. After 90 days and within 365 days, a $75 reinstatement fee applies. After one year, you need to reapply as a new applicant.
