Continuing Education (CE)
CE requirements:
- 24 hours of CE (including 3 hours of Ethics) every 2 years for Life, Accident & Health or Sickness, Variable Life and Variable Annuity, Property, Casualty, and/or Personal Lines.

South Carolina insurance licenses require CE every two years, with renewal due on the last day of the licensee’s birth month. Licenses can be renewed anytime within 90 days before expiration.
