Continuing Education (CE)

CE requirements for insurance producers include:  

  • 24 hours of CE (including 3 hours of ethics) for Life & Fixed Annuities, Accident & Health, Property & Allied Lines, Casualty & Allied Lines, and Personal Lines every 2 years.

FAQs

Licenses in Pennsylvania require renewal and completion of CE every 2 years on the last day of the licensee’s birth month

Pennsylvania offers a 90-day grace period to renew producer licenses after paying a late fee of $165. After the grace period, a license reinstatement is possible for up to one year. After one year, the licensee must restart the application process.
