When do I need to renew my Nebraska insurance license?
Licenses in Nebraska require renewal and completion of CE every 2 years on the last day of the licensee’s birth month. Licenses renew in even- or odd-numbered years according to the licensee’s birth year. As a result, the first renewal could be earlier than two years.
What if I miss the Nebraska insurance license renewal deadline?
Nebraska offers a 30-day grace period to reinstate producer licenses after paying a late fee plus the renewal fee. Reinstatements are possible from 31 days and for up to one year after the expiration date. After one year, the licensee must restart the initial licensing process.
