Continuing Education (CE)
CE requirements for insurance producers include:
- 24 hours of CE (including 3 hours of ethics) for Life, Accident & Health, Property, Casualty, Personal Lines, and Surety every 2 years. Long-term care, Flood insurance, and Annuities have line-specific training requirements.

Deadline: Renewals are due every 2 years on the last day of the licensee’s birth month. Complete CE at least 30 days before the license expires to avoid late renewal penalties. The CE provider may take up to 30 days to upload your credits.
Exemptions: CE exemptions include producers who hold Credit, Pet or Travel, or Surplus Lines. Business entities and non-resident producers are also exempt.
