Everything You Need to Know About Kentucky’s 2025 Appointment Renewals

Kentucky carrier appointment renewals will be calculated on January 1, 2025. Invoices will be generated the following day, January 2, 2025, and will be available on the NIPR website starting January 3, 2025, along with a list of appointments due for renewal. Renewal fees must be paid by 3 pm Eastern Time on March 31, 2025, to avoid cancellations. If the invoice is not settled by 3 pm Eastern Time on June 30, 2025, all appointments will be canceled.

Appointment Renewal Invoice:

Kentucky carrier appointment renewals will be calculated on January 1, 2025. Renewal fees must be paid by 3 pm ET on March 31, 2025, to avoid cancellations. Unpaid invoices by 3 pm ET on June 30, 2025, will result in canceled appointments.

Processing Appointment Terminations:

Termination notices for appointments that you do not wish to renew must be received by NIPR (NIPR website) no later than 11:59 pm Eastern Time December 31, 2025, to allow enough time for processing before the renewal invoices are created.

There are no “black-out” periods for Kentucky appointments, so carriers can make changes throughout the renewal period. If payment is not fully processed by 3 pm EDT on March 31, 2025, the renewal amount will double, as required by Kentucky Law. Any unpaid appointments will be canceled if not settled by 3 pm EDT on June 30, 2025. Invoices will be unavailable from 3 pm EDT on March 31, 2025, until 8 am EDT on April 1, 2025, to accommodate invoice fee updates.
