The Oklahoma appointment renewal period is well underway, but time is running out. With the December 31, 2024, deadline fast approaching, it’s crucial to act now to ensure your appointments remain active.

Oklahoma requires annual appointment renewals for insurance producers, limited lines insurance producers, title agents, motor service clubs, and managing general agents. The renewal period began on November 25, 2024, and will close at 4:00 PM CST on December 31, 2024. Appointments not renewed by this deadline will be canceled automatically.

Here’s what you need to know:

• Renewal Fees: Each appointment renewal costs $30. NIPR also charges a processing fee of 1% of the total state fee, with a minimum of $5 and a maximum of $1,000.

• Mandatory Processing: All renewals must be processed electronically through NIPR. Payments made electronically are forwarded to the state within 24 hours. Both NIPR fees and state appointment fees are non-refundable.
• Important Reminder: To plan for next year, terminations for appointments you don’t wish to renew should be submitted to NIPR prior to November 16th.
